when the a/c unit starts up and the compressor kicks on the darn ground fault trips on the plug supplied with the unit, sometimes it will run for a month, then the thing trips the ground fault and won't work for awhile(several days), took it in to a service rep last year or summer and he said there was nothing wrong with it, the first tech at another company said the compressor was bad, but we used for 2 years until this happens, now the latest spell it has lasted for 1.5 months w/o shutting off until yesterday. This has happened 2 years now it is about 2.5 years old. Can anyone please help? it does not seem to be overheating.
