Hi, I've got a window unit from a friend so other than it being a large whirlpool with remote control, I know nothing about it. It's worked great for over a year now, but last night a breaker tripped shutting power down to my bedroom. I flipped breaker back on and when I turned the AC on, it just buzzed. I took the front cover off and was able to get to the fan. It turns freely by hand and with the power on, it will operate (in either direction I might add) but I don't think the compressor is kicking in, the air never gets cold. Is there a fuse in the unit? Or some other fairly simple things I could look at?
Thanks for any help.
