I have a whirlpool window a/c, and I need a part. but dont know what its called, so I will attempt to describe
Made of stryofoam
fits on top of unit under metal casing
goes over the fan and assembly
regulates cold air to fan
I no longer have this piece and I need it or something to replace it.
Please help

Hey Laurie, APPros does have a diagram of your model listed but I'm unsure of what part you're looking for - it could be #7 Housing P/N AP3594377 but that part is a special item; you have to call APPros for availability at 8774777278.. The other possibility is #9 Scroll P/N AP3607391 which is available... The diagram doesn't specify what material each part is constructed of so a little more research on your part is necessary...
