KitchenAid Mixer Field Assembly Stator

I have a Kitchen Aid mixer model KSM90PSWH that is not working correctly. On the Field Assembly stator there are two wires--one black and one white. At the end of each wire is a brass clip approximately an inch long and 3/16ths wide. The clip is curved and both clips are by the armature. Question: where do these brass clips attach? JG
