Kenmore Whispertone 116 Upright Vacuum
Sorry if this is in the wrong catagory...
Hello. I am looking for a replacement part for said product. My [U]belts are breaking[/U] every time i disengage the roller brush. I believe it is rubbing on the drive pin. On this model the belt is attached in two places the roller and on the motors drive pin. Another pin, which i need to replace, (Has worn flat, loss original diamater, and won't hold belt off of drive pin) This pin sits between, does this sound familiar? I was thinking about hammering on a very small tube of steel to tightly fit around the worn flat pin. You see, it isn't wide enough (with the wear it has) to lift the belt sufficiently off the drive pin. I would very much appreciate any suggestions/Ideas.
