Default InSinkErator Disposal clogged
Model Number: 777ss   Brand: -other-   Age: Less than 1 year

I boiled and softened King Crab legs and chopped the shells and fed them into my garbage disposal. The blades spin perfectly, but the water will not go down. I have tried vigariously plunging (hand plunger) many times with no results.

Any suggestions?

Default thanks for your advice

Thanks for your advice! I was hoping to avoid removing the drain pipe. To that end I continued plunging for a very long time rather than removing the pipe. The clogg did finally move with plunging.

thanks
