humming garbage disposal
Model Number: GFC320F Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
My garbage disposal just started humming! Nothing is in it, I looked this model up and there is only a screw at the bottom, what does this go to? There is nothing that up can stick anything in to loosen. Is there any other way to loosen the blade.

get a mop handle (or something similar) and put it down there and twist around with a large circular motion.
make sure it's off... if you replace it, get an insinkerator... anything except a ge

i also had the same problem problem. GE garbage disposal just pissed me off.
