Wink disposal leak

Hi Are you absolutely sure it is at the el connection or coming from above? The reason I ask this is that a nearly new GD should not have this problem. I think this happens when the separator plate rusts through. I have only seen it once and it was 10+ years old. I would double check that you aren't leaking at the sink connection by putting the stopper in and then put some water in the sink. If it leaks now recaulk the sink flange and don't let it spin when you tighten it back up. Let me know how it goes!
