Model Number: In Sink Erator Brand: -brand- Age: 1 - 5 years
Just today, my garbage disposal started making an awful noise. It sounds as if there were a piece of metal being kicked around inside, but there isn't. It sounds like it's coming from the upper part of the disposal and may be caused by the metal pieces hitting? Can these be tightened? I'm not very good with these types of things but am willing to learn! All help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Unplug the power cord. Using a flashlight, carefully inspect inside the garbage disposer for a foreign objects. If there is no any then replace the garbage disposer.
