We ordered a new specialty disposal flange to match our new sink. The groove may not be deep enough as the ring keeps popping out when tightening the mounting screws. I can't seem to get the flange tight enough to keep from leaking under the rim of flange. Any tricks for getting the ring to work or should I just use silicone instead of putty between flange and sink?
