I have never had any problems with this disposal until the other day. My daughter dropped a penny in it. It is now making a kind of higher pitched sound, and the food chews up really slowly.
I have looked into the unit, cleared out what was in there, and I don't really seem to see anything wrong. I can even turn the blades with ease. I am completely stumped on this. Anyone have any ideas besides buying a new disposal?
