Garbage disposer
Model Number: unknown Brand: Kenmore Age: More than 10 years
I turned on disposer tonight and it worked fine as ususal. But after I turned off the switch, the unit continued to run. Had to unplug the unit from the wall under the sink to get it to shut off. I tried it again after 30 minutes and it still continues to run. Whats next, please?

Sounds like the on/off switch went bad and is constantly supplying power to the wall socket when ON or OFF. I'd check that first.
