I am trying to assist an 84-year-old blind woman in Fort Worth, Texas with an icemaker repair or a working used or new refrigerator. I work for Easter Seals and am trying to find a local forum here in Texas like this one who can help her -- do you know of a contact? She has a very old GE, but I don't know the model #. (BTW, you all are doing a wonderful service for your community -- keep up the good works!)

Thank you kindly for asking, but yours is the first reply I have received. I sent a possible resource to the man who works with this woman's home health agency, called the Assistance League, but I am not sure they were able to help in this particular case. It is a busy time of year, and I think this is seen as a low priority request. If you know of any groups such as yours in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, I would appreciate knowing about them.
