How To Post A Question

Everyone that visits Repair Forum has the ability to view and read all posted questions by other users in our forum. Feel free to browse around or use the search!

If you would like to post your own question and get the help you need for your particular repair or service question, you can do so using this guide. The process is very fast and easy to do! It will take just minutes for you to get your question up and running!

Note: Even if you have registered with our online store, please take the time to register on our forum. The two registrations are separate.

Follow These Fast Steps


Before you can post a question on the Repair Forum, you will need to register. You can do this by clicking on the Register link from the Repair Forum main page.

On the next page, take a second to read our Forum Rules. After you have read them, check the box next to "I have read, and agree to abide by the Appliance Repair Forum rules" if you agree.


On the next page, you will be asked to create a unique user name (do not use your email address as your username). This is how everyone in the forum will see you. Your personal information is not visible to those using the forum.

Enter a unique password. They are case sensitive. Include your email address. Then, enter the letters and numbers from the Image Verification window on the bottom right into the field.

Note: There is no email verification when joining the website. It only takes minutes to complete with no bounce back email for you to confirm.


On the bottom portion of the same screen, you are asked to include the Referrer to the website if you have one. Then, select your time zone information. Both fields are optional.


Finally, check the box if you would like to be able to receive emails from the forum admins.

Once you have completed this information, you will receive a confirmation message right on your screen. If you would like to post your question, click on the Forums line marked with the red arrow on the image below.

You can also visit your Profile to change your information and to give us more information to help serve your needs. You may wish to visit the Options link if you would like to change your preferences or other information.

Head on over to the Repair Forum where you can post and receive messages from our Appliance Repair Experts to help you with your service needs, your part needs or any other questions we can help with. Our experts consist of AppliancePartsPros team members as well as volunteers who enjoy helping people fix their appliances.

Posting Your Message

Once you have registered with the AppliancePartsPros repair forum, you can then begin posting. To do so, enter our repair forum at The screen looks like the one below.

You will find a list of Forum topics that you can select from to get your question answered. In many cases, you will find that your question already has been answered by our professionals because someone else has asked it.

If not, you can ask your own question. To do so, look for the appropriate forum topic and click on it. For example, if you are looking for help with your Dishwasher Repair, click that forum.


On the next screen, you will see this page.

Be sure to read any Sticky Messages to find out if your question has been asked.

If not, select the Post New Topic link in the green.



In this box, type your question. At the top, include a descriptive title that will help use to know what you are looking for specifically (example: "My Whirlpool dishwasher won't drain"). Fill in any model number and brand name you can so we can give you a great answer the first time you visit. Then, type your question in the box, as detailed as possible. Once you have entered the question, click on the box at the very bottom of the screen labeled Submit New Thread.

That's all there is to it! Within seconds your question will be online and we'll be answering it for you! When someone answers your question, you will be automatically notified via email. Please do not reply to that email, instead click on the link within the email to post your reply.
