My dishwasher is leaking at the gasket for the vent. I replaced the gasket and it still leaks. Could it be the vent assembly? Everything looks clean and good.

Maytag Dishwasher Control Panel

Because I had to replace the control panel for the second time in a little over 5 years, Maytag agreed to pay for the part as long as I paid for the labor. Does $124.00 sound like a reasonable charge for labor to fix this part? KG

Hi all,

Yesterday the display failed on our Bosch SGI57M05GB/17. Now nothing displays and it's stuck on the cold rinse setting.

Has anyone got any idea what might have failed? Is it likely to be the control module?

Thanks in advance for any help,

I'm installing a brand new KitchenAid dishwasher and there are no instructions as to where to install P/N W10084568. It's a sound installation piece with a white styrofoam piece stapled to a black rubber piece with horizontal ridges. Does it slide under dishwasher? Does it not even go with my model of KitchenAid KUDS301VBL? Help, please.

My machine "randomly" fills/drains at the same time, Erg.

About 50% of the time it runs just fine... then all of a sudden I will notice the water keeps running, and running - and it seems to be filling, but the water level just stays the same :-(

Consider myself lucky it's not overflowing!, Lol. But sure a pain in the butt when I'm in a hurry to get something finished. Sometime I can spin it out then it will be fine, others times I turn it off wait a few hours then it will be fine... don't get it!

Suggestions?

We smelled something like burning wax and traced it to the dishwasher. During the drying cycle, the heating element gets extremely hot. This just started happening. Is there a thermostat that would be causing this or something else?

Thanks,
