My dishwasher is leaking at the gasket for the vent. I replaced the gasket and it still leaks. Could it be the vent assembly? Everything looks clean and good.

Maytag Dishwasher Control Panel

Because I had to replace the control panel for the second time in a little over 5 years, Maytag agreed to pay for the part as long as I paid for the labor. Does $124.00 sound like a reasonable charge for labor to fix this part? KG

I have a loud sound coming from the transmission when the machine should agitate.
With the machine tiled back - the transmission wheel will spin in one direciton. Should it be able to be moved in both directions?

Whirlpool Cabrio Washer Drum Noise

Just started a month ago, when the drum is agitating back and forth it makes a grinding noise. Also, when the system is idle no clothes in it, you can manually move the drum back and forth and hear the same noise. The unit performs fine, but the noise is starting to get worse.
Is this a bearing?? thanks

GE gas cooktop igniter keeps clicking

Can someone help me solve this problem? After years of flawless service, one day 2 of the 5 burners would ignite, but the igniter would keep clicking even after the burner was lit. When I took the cooktop apart, there was a lot of corrosion between the brass venturi tubes and the gas jet holder. I replaced all 5 venturi tubes, and cleaned the threads on the gas jet holders with a wire brush. Didn't solve it. Checked all the igniter wires - replaced the shrink insulatgion on one connector that was cracked. No change. Replaced all the burner bases and igniters. Now the only time the igniters *_stop_* clicking is when all 5 burners are lit. Replaced the igniter module; no change. All 5 burners have good spark at the igniters, but it just won't stop clicking!

Does anyone know how the igniters know when the flame is lit?

Hi all,

Yesterday the display failed on our Bosch SGI57M05GB/17. Now nothing displays and it's stuck on the cold rinse setting.

Has anyone got any idea what might have failed? Is it likely to be the control module?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Leggie

Hello,
Please help me with this flat cooktop problem. The large burner (bottom right) is stuck on high. Knob indicates it is off. 'Element on' light is off. But the burner stays on high. Heard a soft zzzzt noise, then the burner was stuck on. Had to turn it off at the breaker. I can't figure how to get the top off to look underneath and can't find a manual online. Please Help! I have a cheesecake order to deliver and Thanksgiving is next week!
Thanks!

We ordered a replacement defrost heater assembly (WR51X10031) for our refrigerator. The instructions that came with the part were for replacing a dual element defrost heater with a single element heater. We need the instructions for replacing a single element heater with a single element heater. I contacted a live chat representative, and they said that I needed to post the question on the forum to get the correct instructions.
