Was using dryer and it was working normally. Pulled load from dryer and left door open for about 15-20 minutes.
Dryer would not work when I attempted to start it for next load.
Heard humming noise when I turned the starter switch - drum did not turn, drum light was on so it is getting power.
Do I need a new starter switch or is it something else??

You'll need someone to help you. Open the dryer door. Push and hold the door switch. Push the start switch and turn the drum with your hands.

If it would start, replace the motor.
