Model Number: 417-81142000 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
OK, I know this SHOULD be simple, but for some of us it's not. The drum on the dryer is leaning forward onto the top of the dryer's front panel. As a result a gap has opened at the bottom of the drum large enough to pull clothes into it. Ok, mainly shirt collars, rags, socks etc. As they spin up to the top while in this gap they get stuck. While they are stuck they burn and slow down the drum even more. I opened the top yesterday and for the life of me I could see no roller or any other support for the drum. I know they are there somewhere, they have to be....right? How do I check them, remove them, replace them???

You will need to buy a front glide assembly (AP2150497) available on this site.
This comes with high temperature glue. You will need to scrape off the old one. Go to web site www.applianceaid.com for take apart info.
