my electric kenmore dryer was making a terrible racket. we removed front cover to see that the housing had separated from the exhaust pipe because the bracket that holds those two down and together broke. the parts diagram shows the bracket, but has no part number for it. When looking at housing or the exhaust pipe neither seems to come with the bracket.

it seems like a simple repair, but my concern is how the braket is fastened down. there are bolts of course, but how are they secured? the dryer sits on a pedestal & it is hard to see if there is a bolt under there or what...any suggestions or advice are welcome :)
