Alright here we go. I'm working on a friends dryer. I have power and continuity through all the thermals and the timer. I have power to that side of the heating element, but there is a red lead coming off the terminal block and goes under the dryer, to the blower motor but I don't have power coming off the motor to the bottom connection on the heater. On the wiring diagram it shows some kind of switch. I ran out of time (and patience
) last night to pull the blower wheel and housing out. Does anyone know what that switch is? is there a safety switch on the blower? also what is the fastest way to get the blower out? I took the back plate off and got the cover off the wheel but couldn't get any further. Thanks. |
