My dryer doesn't want to heat up. I can see the glow of "heat" but it won't ignite. Everytine it wants to ignite, it makes a stange noise. Almost like thin metal is rattling. I see the orange glow but then it won't light and the noise stops. Once I moved the thermostst? on the outside of the cover of the heat vent, got shocked and then heat came on. Can somone tell me if that part is bad or if it's soemthing else. The part I got shocked on I believe is the thermostat. It had 2 prongs on it and was round. Is that the problem or was it just a coincedence that it lit up after I got shocked?
Thanks
