If no meter, you are lost, and we can't even try to give advice.

Hi cheo

In order to perform a simple troubleshooting you need a regular meter which can help you to check a continuity.

Gene.

Pull the dryer out of the wall, unplug the power cord, remove the vent hose from the dryer and remove the back panel.
According to the bulkhead parts break down diagram start the troubleshooting from the thermal fuse (#7). Remove at least one wire from the thermal fuse and check the continuity across terminals.
If the thermal fuse is open it has to be replaced together with the cycling thermostat (#8).
If this is not an issue, go to the thermal cut off (#9) and perform the same continuity test. Replace it if open.
If it's fine then test the heat element (#17). Do not forget to remove at least one wire from the heat element before testing the continuity. Replace it if open.

- The part number for the thermal fuse AP3132867

- The part number for the cycling thermostat AP3131939

- The part number for the thermal cut off AP3094244

- The part number for the heating element AP3094254

- Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool electric dryer Model TEDS780JQ0

Good luck.
Gene.
