Model Number: MDG5500AWW Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
My dryer was making a weird chirping noise for a couple of weeks. Then it wouldn't respond to keypad at all.
I ordered the control panel from your company. The panel I receved is part number: AP3882440 (33003028) I replaced the part and still I am getting no input. No button responds at all, period. My old control board has what looks like an overheated spot on the top right where the 4 little resisters are. The old control panel has the number: 63717810 on it, so I'm wondering if I received the correct part. OR Could the actual pad with the buttons be messed up too? Thanks for any help you can offer. I guess I just send this board back to you as I am assuming it is defective since no one has any other suggestions....
I had thought the customer support here was pretty good, that is why I ordered from your company. I can see I was mistaken. |

Yes, it's 120. Dryer worked fine for years, just started with that weird chirp noise, then one day, the buttons just stopped working. All indications were to replace the control board.
The ribbon cant fit more perfect, so I'm going to assume the control board I received is defective. Unless the ribbon can go bad.... |
