It's a Galaxy, bought at Sears. When the is door closed, the timer/dial is set and the start button pressed, all that I hear is a buzz/hum. However, I do feel heat. If I manually start the drum rolling, while holding the start button and pressing the door switch, the drum engages and continues to run. I don't know for how long, though. There is a burning smell, if I leave it run. All signs point to a motor replacement, but I want to double check with those who know. Is there anything else I should consider replacing? Is it worth it to replace the motor?
