I recieved a heating element yesterday and the plugs are different the old one had threee wire hook ups the new one only has two wire hook ups. My dryer has two red wires and one orange wire. Plus the plugs on the dryer wires are smaller clamps that do not fit on heating element. So which wires do I have to hook up to the element. Do I have to put different ends on my dryer wires. On the reply you said contact where I got the part which was APPLIANCEPARTSPROS and they said it was the right one so I don't have clue so I wasted $60.00 and still don't have a dryer.

Hi Rick, 1/ How those wires were connected to the old element? 2/ There are two ways: replace the wire terminals or order the new heating element wire (2 needed, $4.03 each) - The heating element wire Part number: AP3134638

RICK HOLMQUIST,
What I would like to do is double check and be sure you received the correct part. Whats odd is your model calls for an element we sell for $41.03
Can you provide me with the order number?
