ignitor bright but no gas
Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
My dryer ignitor gets red but the gas doesnt come on. wiped radiant sensor lens and it worked 1 day. started as intermittant failure to heat.
should I just replace coils and sensor?

ignitor bright but no gas
When the ignitor glows then goes out but the gas do not come on it is usually that the coils are bad, but if the ignitor glows constantly the sensor might be bad.
