Default Suspect timer failed
Model Number: let7646aqo   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: More than 10 years

I have a whirlpool dryer and when I attempt to set the type of drying cycle and time I have to old down the cycle start button and move the cycle type and timer knob back and forward to start a drying cycle. Sometimes this is not even successful and the timer buzzer will go off ending the cycle. I have to repeatedly do the above until the dryer cycle will start. Do I just need to replace the timer??

Default Sounds like it going to be the timer

Make sure the door switch lever is not loose before ordering a timer.
