Dryer Problem

Model Number: WSM2700DAWWW Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years

I turned on my dryer tonight and it made a sparking/buzzing noise when I pressed the button. It's not sparking and didn't smell like smoke. I just had the belt replaced in it. What could be wrong with it? Please let me know.
