 Dryer starts heats and runs fine, but if you open door to add bounce sheet it seems to be stuck in run mode upon closing of door you here a moan not normal. Normally you have to push the start button. If I open the door and manually give the drum a push it will catch and run normal again. Start winding or capasitor?

Here are your parts

Well we can eliminate a capacitor as the unit does not have one.

The motor has a centrifugal switch that disconnects the start winding once the motor gets close to operating speed. You also will notice that it is wired in parallel with the push-to-start switch. It sounds like this switch is not resetting when it is hot, so the start winding is not in circuit.

Could be that the mechanism is just dirty/clogged with lint.

Roper dryer RGK2951KQ1

There was dust, but the main problem was that 1 of the 2 springs of the centrifical switch had broken off so it wouldn't reset when hot. Spring back on and unit resets very time.
Thanks for your help in pointing me in the right direction.
