Model Number: 80 series   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 1 - 5 years   
There is a very horrible grinding noise coming from inside. Sounds like rocks or ball bearings grinding together etc. Is this someting I can fix?

it sounds like you have lost the bearings on one of the rollers that the drum rides on. you can get a kit that replaces the rollers the belt and the cloth bearing.
