Model Number: DWXR473ET0AA Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
My dryer drum quit turning. It will start but quits running as soon as you release the start button, got front and top off, found 1/4" belt, (at least I think that's what it is) in bottom. Does belt go around drum, do I have to take drum out? HELP!! It looks like drum needs to come out to get to rear access panel? I'm a single woman and live out in the country, service charge alone will kill me. Pretty sure I can do this with some guidance. My other question, I assume it quits running because belt is broke and not because of bad switch problem?
