Gas Dryer with Electric Igniter Wont Heat
Model Number: MDG9206AWW Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
My older model gas dryer will not heat. It has an electric igniter. Everything else is working fine, except the heating element. How can I fix this, and will it be very exspensive? Thanks

Check these things:
Flame sensora flame sensor 2.bmpThis guy over the years will develop an open circuit and not allow for the igniter to come on.

|
next check the ignitor and fuse
The fuse mounts on that burner chamber where the flames enters.
If the ignitor is open it is bad. If the dryer works just a little but quits heating then replace these:dryer coil kit.jpg
