Hello. I know I need to replace the rear drum bearing for a squealing noise. but, I can't find a post anywhere about how to OPEN the dryer up to get at it.
Open from the top, front, back? Swings up? Just don't want to start taking putty knife and screw driver to it if I don't know which way it should go where.

Thanks for your help.

This is your basic Frigidaire made dryer sold under the Kenmore brand name by Sears

If you insert a putty knife or screw driver in the gap between the top and front near the edges you will release clips that hold the top on. It will now flip up.

Take off the rear service panel and release the belt. Then take off the front and use the belt to pull up on the drum and take it out.

Do your repair, put it back together and there you are.
