Gas Dryer will not relight after few cycles
Model Number: Mod - 110.70172000 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
Dryer functions the same in all dry modes.
Will fire ok 1st,2nd and sometimes 3rd time during a cycle. After the glow plug turns on (nice and bright) but no fire. Will repeat one or two times then nothing until door is opened or its let cool down. Cleaned off what i believe is photo cell or eye to see glow. This did not help and want not realy dirty. lens and cell appeared to be in good shape. Kevin

Easy fix!
Replace the coils on the gas valvedryer coil kit.jpgThis is a common problem on these dryers. The coils get hot and quit. Later on they start working again. Replace them.
