Dryer functions the same in all dry modes.
Will fire ok 1st,2nd and sometimes 3rd time during a cycle. After the glow plug turns on (nice and bright) but no fire. Will repeat one or two times then nothing until door is opened or its let cool down. Cleaned off what i believe is photo cell or eye to see glow. This did not help and want not realy dirty. lens and cell appeared to be in good shape.

Replace the coils on the gas valve  Schematic A8740.doc (80kb) downloaded 36 time(s).This is a common problem on these dryers. The coils get hot and quit. Later on they start working again. Replace them. SublimeMasterJW attached the following image(s):
