If it does relight every time when the igniter goes "on" then the problem is an obstructed vent.

If it does not relight then the problem most likely is a bad gas valve coils.

Default taken off everything and cleaned

I have taken off the back of the dryer and i have taken off and cleaned the lint trap thing. r there any other vents? I did run the dryer with it disconnected from the exhaust and it did the same thing. So it must be those coils right? thank you.

Exhaust and vent is the same thing. Sounds like a bad coils.

Some time the coils are accessible without removing the drum. Good luck.

Default don't see schematics to replace coil

Gene, I see your info hear about the part number but I don't see the schematic re: how to actually change the coils. A little help please?

Just want to make sure this is for a LGR4634JQ2.

Also, my timer doesn't advance. Is this related to the same problem.

thanks.

Pull out the lint screen and remove the two screws under it. Using a putty knife, release the top lock (#20 on the diagram) on each side and lift up the top panel. Remove the screw secured the front panel on each side (#2) and remove the front panel. The gas burner is on the left side.

It is very likely that the new coils will solve the timer problem too.

Default coils didn't fix the problem

Gene, Installed the new coils today and it did not fix the problem. Any other ideas? Is there a fuse or something for that part of the electrical that powers the coils? Just trying to exhaust all options before buying a new dryer tomorrow. Wife is pretty adamant that the clothesline is not acceptable!!!

Thanks
