My gas dryer flame is intermitent. I have read the forums, checked the vent tube, have disconected the following items and checked for continuity and have it, the flame detector, high limit thermostat, ignitor. Not sure how to check the gas solenoids since they have multiple wires. When not working, the ingnitor will not glow, and there is no clicking from the solenoids. Since there are several different drying cycles, I have experimented and found that everything will work fine on some cycles and not others using the timer dial. I have been able to get the flame to light, but when I turn the dial for more drying time the flame will go out. I read that the dial has little motors or gears that will control the gas tube features, and wondering if my problem is the dial.
