Model Number: LDG8506AAE Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
Hello,
I have a problem with auto dry cycles, where the dryer stays on and the timer stays in the same position. I replaced the timer, so it would appear that I have two thermostats to check and/or replace, as well as a radiant sensor. I'm checked the high-limit thermostat and it's not 'open'. I don't know how to check the other thermostat, as it has five wires connected to it. I also checked the radiant sensor, and that too was not 'open'. The part numbers I got from customer service are: High Limit: AP4036956 Multi-Thermostat?: AP4037199 Can you help? Thanks!
