Heating coil or Heating element assembly

Is it hard to replace the heating coil Or would it be easier to install new Heating element assembly and install high limit thermostat in it.

Not really, just take your time.
It is a good idea to make a diagram of how the old one is strung.

Or would it be easier to install new Heating element assembly and install high limit thermostat in it.
