Question Whirlpool Dryer won't start
Model Number: LER7646EQ1   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 5 - 10 years

I have replaced the motor, timer, start switch, heat element, and thermostats, and the dryer still will not start. I haven't replaced the door latch because the light comes on when you open the door and the timer goes off. So, what else could it be?

Hi,

Have you check to see if you have the correct voltage going to the dryer?

This video will show you more.

Yes, I checked the voltage, but still no start. It was working fine, then I woke up the other morning and it would'nt do anything.

There is a fuse on the back of the dryer (mine was white) that could be bad. It is located on the tube for the lint trap at the bottom. Mine did the same thing that yours is doing and I replaced it and everything is fine now.
