My DH had the bright idea to stack our washer and dryer and now it won't heat? It worked fine bfore, it turns on and acts like it is running, so I don't think it can be a power problem? But would somthing just go that quick? It worked yesterday...

He did change the plug on the back but would that cause it to run/work but not heat???

Any suggestions

Yes, it could. The dryer has 240 volts going to it at the outlet.

The motor only uses half that, 120 volts to run, but the heater needs the full 240 volts to heat.

Please check your model number. I can not find any info on the one you listed, but if this dryer has electronic controls or control board there is a chance the electronics have been damaged if you did not connect the cord right in the first place.
