I have disconnected and removed the two thermostats located on top of the drum at the back top. Now, I can't remember which thermostat goes in which positions. One of the thermostats has a pink dot on top (part# 53-1182) and the other has a yellow dot(part# 53-1096. The wires to those two positions are: the longest wires for the left spot are white and light gray and the shortest wires for the right spot are dark gray or purple. Both thermostats test OK for continuity. Actually I guess one is the thermal fuse?

My question: which thermostat is connected to which set of wires??
My Mistake: Not re-assembling the dryer immediately...2 week interval.
