Our dryer will just keep running through all the cycles. (It does not stop when it should). The only way we can stop it is by leaving the door open. If the door is closed, the dial just spins through all the cycles without stooping. (this happens intermittently)

I was sure it was the timer so I replaced the timer and it is dong the same thing.

What should I check?

Thanks in advance.
