I have a Kenmore 80 series dryer that was working fine, with no problems until a couple of days ago. I finished drying a load in it, but the next day when my roommate tried to turn it on there was a soft clicking noise when you pressed in the starter button, but nothing else happened. It's b/w 5 & 6 years old I think. Any suggestion/advice/help?

The electrical outlet itself needs to be checked first
to see if its delivering proper voltage. Then the
first thing to check on the dryer is the terminal
block that the electrical cord is connected to,
and make sure the connections are ok.
