Default Roper dryer motor froze
Model Number: RGX4634KQ1   Brand: Roper   Age: 5 - 10 years

The motor bearings appear to have froze as I can bearly spin it. I'm trying to remove the motor, but am having trouble removing the blower from the shaft.
Does anyone know which way to spin the blower off or does it have reverse threads?
Thanks.

Put vise grips on the blower wheel at the panel side and turn the motor shaft clockwise, should come off easily. You will need to install a new motor.

That worked. I'm taking the motor to a shop that may be able to replace the bearings.
Thanks!
