maytag dryer
Model Number: SDG3606AWW Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
dryer is squeaking or squealing very loudly when it is still cold..stops after it warms up...how do i check the pulleys? belt? Iddler?

If the squealing is comming from the drum
the best thing to do is replace the drum support rollers, idler pulley and the belt at the same time. When replacing the rollers and pulley make sure the shaft that they ride on is clean before putting the new ones on. Last edited by glen65 : 04-12-2008 at 05:15 PM.
