Default Dryer will not run
Model Number: 110-96292800   Brand: Kenmore   Age: More than 10 years

Kenmore dryer will not start, I have tested the thermal fuse, the thermostat, and the heating element. I have tested for 240 volts at the wall plug and the connection block in the dryer. The only thing left to test is the Timer Switch and how do you test it just because the clock works does not mean the power is making contact internally.

Gene has much to be proud of

The first thing I would check is the thermal fuse. It's located on the blower wheel cover behind the front panel.

Replace the thermal fuse if it's open.

- The part number for the thermal fuse is AP3133489

Gene.
