Hi - I'm not very handy and have made the mistake of trying to do something on my own, am stuck and now - no repair person want's to help me b/c I took the dryer apart on my own. live and learn I guess. I have the entire motor and blower wheel housing unit removed from the dryer. The wheel spins freely independent of the motor shaft. The reason I'm removing it is that it makes a terrible noise when the dryer runs as the wheel is loose. Dryer is only 2 years old. I'm down to resorting to cutting it off - any last ditch suggestions?? THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Pull the blower wheel away from the motor while unscrewing it.
Remember that it is a left hand thread.
Hold the armature with a wrench or vice grips so it cannot rotate.
Perhaps it will catch the threads and let you unscrew it.

Often they have to be cut or chiseled off.
