Default My idler pulley fell off,How to reinstall?
Model Number: TEDS740JQ1   Brand: Estate   Age: 1 - 5 years   

my dryer drum wouldnt spin ,so I removed the face and found the belt broke and the idler laying next to it. i have the new parts but unsure how to install? because i didnt see wher they came from

The idler pulley plugs into slots on the base.

The belt installation picture is attached to the post.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Estate dryer Model TEDS740JQ1

With the grooved side of the belt against the drum, there is only one way to install per the picture given.

how do you get access to the back of the dryer like that? i pulled the back cover off, will i have to take out the drum?

Reach in with both arms under the drum, and route the belt around the motor pulley and the idler pulley and watch for sharp edges! Rotate drum one turn to make sure the belt tracks properly.
