Yes it heats but timer does not advance already replaced timer and thermostat on vent

Possible the cause of the problem is a clogged vent or a bad blower (#4 on the motor drive break down diagram) inside the dryer.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag dryer Model MDG6200AWW

Checked out dryer motor and fan all seams working well also checked duct work not blocked thanks for you help any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Disconnect the vent hose from the dryer and run one or two loads without that hose.
