Lightbulb Dryer is too hot
Model Number: LGR4624B   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 5 - 10 years

My dryer was running for three hours blowing cold air. I figured out that my thermo fuse broke- I replaced it. It heat up again but seems very hot. I put a load in for 30 min. But it keeps on going and seems too hot. The vent is clear, Could it be the thermal high limit thermostat control? help?
Thanks.

Did you clean your vent when you changed the t-fuse especially the point where it exits the house? If you're positive it's clear one of the t-stats is bad. The cycling t-stat is the normal culprit, but I'm not sure if your gas dryer has that type of t-stat. If not I'd suspect the hi-limit, but would need a wiring diagram before I'd put any money on the diagnosis.
